How does the process work?
Microsystems initiates the process by scheduling an appointment to assess your microfilm needs. During this phase, we’ll discuss conversion options, including:
- Microfilm image quality and expected quantity
- Indexing prerequisites
- Project timeframe and budget expectations
Subsequently, you’ll receive a formal written proposal from Microsystems, outlining the project, timeframe, specifications, and pricing details. Upon approving our proposal, a designated project manager from Microsystems will coordinate the secure pickup and transportation of your microfilm.
Microsystems presents two delivery options: Scanned image delivery on DVD or hosting within a fully searchable database accessible via the web.
If you deem that the retrieval rates from your microfilm archive don’t warrant complete data set conversion, but you still seek an electronic remedy, consider our storage and scan-on-demand services. Microsystems can store your entire microfilm archive while providing scanned images as needed.
