Microsystems recently completed a significant microfilm conversion comprising 130,000 x 35mm Aperture Cards for a Sydney Metro Council. The images created from the microfilmed plans will significantly enhance Councils ability to distribute and securitise the valuable historical information that was becoming difficult to reproduce due to the age of the microfilm printer at Council.
The conversion was undertaken over an 8 week period, the scanning of the cards was completed within 5 weeks with the data entry requiring a further 3 weeks to complete.
