Alchemy Premium is a configurable Windows application for shared Alchemy databases. It has been specifically designed for scalable enterprise wide installations. The Alchemy desktop client creates a simple and fast method of customising the classic build functionality of Alchemy, enabling users to search for fast and direct retrieval of archived files.
Alchemy Desk Top Client (client)
With Alchemy Desktop Client you can:

• Create and deploy customised Alchemy clients across a network
• Create special function clients such as an “annotation station” or an “indexing only station”. This can ALL be changed in lees than 60 seconds.
• Global database operations can be controlled such as security and design.
• User interface functionality can be removed such as “delete”, “clear”, and “edit”.
  

No special programming is required, simply point and click the appropriate functionality required.

Customisation is managed simply via a user friendly Configured Template, the required functionality being checked as required and then saved under the user personalised file.

Alchemy Build (build)
The database management software that provides comprehensive archiving of diverse file types. Maintained in their native format, these files are held is a user defined folder structure along with unlimited index fields created by the systems administrator. Alchemy build is available as a single build client or can be implemented in a client-server environment to allow multiple concurrent build rights to share specific databases.

Alchemy Search (search)
Alchemy Search is the engine that delivers fast and direct retrieval of archived files. Searches can be made from a single or multiple field population across a single, selected group or all databases using Boolean operators and fuzzy logic as appropriate. Search client licenses are sold on a concurrent user basis to provide a cost effective and flexible solution from a standalone to enterprise wide applications.

WEB SOLUTION
For remote users to securely access and store their data anytime, anywhere. Alchemy Web is used for corporate intranets, extranets or internet access. Alchemy Web can be deployed as in-house solution or outsourced to Microsystems – documentsonline.com.au. Alchemy Web/Alchemy Web Server (AWS) delivers fast browser based universal connectivity to Alchemy applications. Documents published to an Alchemy database are available immediately to those users who need to connect via a browser. These documents cab be searched using the same powerful Alchemy search engine and once retrieved can be downloaded/annotated/printed and emailed.

If you know how to use Microsoft® Outlook® you know how to use Alchemy MailStore. The easy to use interface integrates smoothly into the work environment, and provides the user with a familiar and productive tool with little or no training.

Controlling access is simple. The Alchemy MailStore control console allows the IT administrator to create single or multiple repositories and provide open or secured access which enable/disable certain users or user groups. Once the data is stored in the repository the administrator can define its hierarchy, including naming conventions, divide it into smaller components based on project needs, and consolidate it into one master scalable repository with few limits to the amount of data it can store.
