16mm

All documents up to A3 size are microfilmed on high-resolution planetary cameras, with a roll of microfilm containing up to 3000 images. The advantages of our clients microfilming with planetary cameras provides for more cost effective conversion of film to electronic image at a later date if and when required.

16mm microfilm can also be blipped for high-speed retrieval by either frame search reader printers or computer-aided retrieval systems (CAR) which links the document index details along with the film and a unique frame reference number to a computer database. This database can then be used to drive the frame search reader printer to the exact document location and to produce a paper copy within seconds.
