Microsystems uses DataGrabber, an optional extension from IMR for Alchemy® Gold, Premium and Pro to capture and import PRINT File, ASCII and EBCDIC files created by databases, corporate reporting systems, or document management systems, directly into an Alchemy repository (data base) at very high speeds.

Large file reports can be broken down to individual records or pages, enabling all the staff in your organisation and selected clients (if you choose) to view, print, fax mainframe data directly from their desktop PC.

Information can be easily retrieved by pre-f\defined search fields, i.e. Invoice number, supplier or date alternatively you can execute a full text search which will search for any matching records within each document throughout the entire database.

Alchemy forms overlay designer will allow pre-printed stationary to be superimposed on top of the data to enable users to view any document in its original format.
