Microsystems provides
data management and storage/retrieval solutions to government agencies.
Government offices and Government Agencies are faced with ever increasing
pressures to manage vast amounts of paper and information. With new
information
being
generated
daily, federal, state, and local government agencies are often faced
with the challenge of providing secure, timely access and archival
solutions
at low cost. Agencies, faced with the need to provide these services,
are often confronted with the added responsibility of identifying
the
right technologies and best business practices. In this regard Microsystems
is dedicated to providing customised solutions to these challenges
to
those in the public sector.
Scanning Solutions
In the case of Local Government Records, some Local Governments have
interest in scanning document files into their existing document management
systems. These document formats include roll microfilm, COM microfiche,
regular microfiche and paper documents. The objective of a conversion
project is to scan all Local Government files into a common and standard
TIFF/Group 4 image format with an associated ASCII delimited index record.
Use of these standard formats allows the Local Government to migrate
the digital data between imaging systems as required. Where film scanning
is required, Microsystems' use of high-speed microfilm and microfiche
scanning systems are just some of the alternatives available.
Key to such applications and integration is Microsystems expert customisation
of these solutions to allow any government customer to seamlessly merge
legacy systems with newer technologies, thus saving money and providing
the platform for a migration path to future technology enhancements.
Our clients include state, agencies and local branches of government.
